The Worcester Red Sox have retired the uniform Number 6. The “Worcester 6” will only and eternally pay tribute to those killed in the December 3, 1999 fire. Further, in tribute to the 6 who have been killed in the line of duty, we will provide 6 tickets to friends and family of fallen firefighters at each home game at Polar Park.
